Science PLC Opportunity
The Science Curriculum Framework is being revised and we need your help! The first issue to focus on is the vocabulary associated with the science standards. Currently, the list of vocabulary ranges from minimal vocabulary to a laundry list. We need to ensure that the vocabulary is appropriate to not only the standard, the concepts, but also the appropriate grade levels. All work will be completed remotely. If you are interested in helping with this project, contact Dave Bauman for more details: firstname.lastname@example.org
Math Retention Strategy
Math Retention Strategy adapted from Dr. Riccomini’s Practice Test Retrieval Handout. Retrieval activities provide exercise for the brain. Regular retrieval activities during the school year help solidify information resulting in longer retention rates.

To help young Americans better understand the contributions of the nation’s Veterans, VA and the Veterans Day National Committee are pleased to present the 2023 Veterans Day Teachers Resource Guide as a tool to assist educators in planning lessons and activities around Veterans Day. Please reproduce and share the guide in your school and community. In addition to providing information on the sacrifices Veterans have made throughout the years, the guide will also help inspire ideas for projects and events that can be used to thank Veterans.
