Hero
Bonnie Tyler - I Need a Hero (Lyrics)
Mitchell "M.A." Larson
M.A. Larson is a screenwriter for several animated cartoons, and he wrote a book called Pennyroyal Academy. I look up to him because the way he writes keeps me pulled into the story, and even being a professional, he's still silly when interacting with his fans. Even though it's not directly towards me, his advice is for all uprising writers, which is what I am. The advice he gives is simple, straight to the point, and easily understandable. Whenever I think of someone to get advice from, I think of him to ask.
Small Things
As the wise David Bowie once said: "We can be heroes, we can be heroes, we can be heroes for just one day, we can be heroes". Mr. Bowie wanted to say that everybody, even you, can be a hero, even if it's only for one day, you're still a hero.
Wiglaf fits this quote perfectly, because he went in before all of the geats and assisted Beowulf while everybody else ran away and didn't do anything.
Larson gives out the occasional tips to writers, or just general inspiration.
HARRY POTTAH
Harry Potter shows examples of Deadly Battles, Fate, and Bravery. Harry Potter's battle with Voldemort is a battle for his life against the evil. Beowulf fought many battles that many people have already lost, and came out triumphant.
Harry Potter's scar on his forehead is a sign of his eventual battle with Voldemort, fate. Beowulf heard of the threat of Grendal, and traveled to defeat him, and got locked into a fate to fight more.
Beowulf challenged the monsters without fear, showing extraordinary bravery, and Harry Potter, despite being faced with difficult and intimidating situations, he faced them eventually, showing his bravery.
