4th Grade Choral Concert

We enjoyed a wonderful 4th grade winter choral concert with families at the middle school on Thursday night! Our students did a wonderful job and we couldn't be prouder. Thanks to our music teacher, Mrs. Cellemme, for her continued devotion to music education and our students.

Enjoy pics from the concert below!

Third Grade Feathery Focus!

Next week, the Lloyd Center will be visiting our 3rd grade classrooms for another science exploration of birds! Be sure to ask your 3rd grader what they learned in Feathery Focus!

Mad Scientist Visit!

As you may remember, the fantastic and creative DeMello PTO launched the Penny Wars fundraiser at DeMello last October. Students were called upon to use a bit of strategy to win this week-long game of collecting the most money for their grade level. The competition was stiff, and in the end the first grade won! The PTO raised over $5700 in a single week and used some of these funds to purchase recess kits for each classroom. In addition, they are rewarding the entire school with a visit from THE MAD SCIENTIST, who will be engaging our students in a "Fire and Ice" show on January 23rd. We are thrilled to be bringing more educational programs into the school and are so thankful to the PTO for all they do! Stay tuned for pictures of the event!
