"Quote of the Week"
All In!
This week our 8th grade students will begin Student Success Initiative (SSI). There will be some room relocations that only effect our 8th graders and those who are moving have already been informed. The moves will allow the teacher to focus on the students who will retake the test in May. At this time, with two (2) weeks remaining before we take the school wide STAAR and one week prior to the Algebra 1 and Biology STAAR all faculty staff and students will focus on being in class and working on countdown materials. I have said this before and many are following the plan but we should not have students in the hall ways without a pass. Please assist the campus by helping to move the students in your area to their next class.
"Muffins With Mom"
Community Partners
Thank you to the two (2) groups that spoke to our moms, the information you shared was helpful and informative!
Muffins with Mom
Our Community
Thank you Ms. Calzada for organizing this event. It is good to see our community in the building!
CounterTelling
It was good to have a conversation this week with our parents and various community member who come to our building. IT was great to hear there suggestions and to hear that they are overall pleased with the optics of our school from the inside. Many things can and are said about our school and FWISD in the community, I challenged them and you to tell our story. It is easy to focus on the negative, but there are far more good things and good students than bad at Meadowbrook.
"Career Day"
Business Community
It is always good to have our community in the building to tell our story!
