Ofsted

It's official...our Ofsted report has been received and I am pleased to confirm that we have been judged 'Good' in all areas.

Whilst I have to admit, Ofsted has never been our main driver or focus, this report has really captured a lot of what I feel is accurate and true of the school, our vision, our team, our children, and our parents (including the wider community). I would never grade my team, our children, and what we offer (but if I did I certainly wouldn't call it good...I would call it exceptional and transformational); it's not the culture we have created, here! However, all said and done, this accountability measure has recognised and confirmed our positive standing as an educational provider! So, get off your horse Mr Francksen and take the overwhelming positives!

The first sentence starts... 'Pupils at Crawford's are 'very happy.' This just frames, so beautifully, the continuous and unwavering efforts of our staff to create a vision and environment, which cares so deeply. Our top priority has always been the well-being of our children and I am really glad this has been recognised as it is so deserved; I have never experienced a school environment where children's needs, feelings, and all-out 'being' are so well catered for. This simple sentence is so powerful and I feel it is so deserved by all!

I have included the report below so I would encourage you to read the full report and revel in what we have all created! I have also tagged some of the many highlights if you scroll down!

Of course, as is the 'beast' with education (especially in this country), we will be focusing on the areas for improvement and working tirelessly to continue to strive for excellence. For, improvement is not because we're not good enough (clearly we are) but because we can be even better!

Have a lovely weekend and please share this with the children and celebrate their successes...because this, is all about them!

Mr Francksen
