Principal's Message
We had our first snow day at dismissal on Wednesday! The students were so excited to see what actually was graupel. See the video beneath my message to see this uncommon event.
We have several fun activities happening this in the month of March. Our annual Walk for Wellness is scheduled on March 31st. Parents have the opportunity to pre-order Juice it Up which will be delivered to your child after the assembly. This year, I'm looking forward to being "slimed" by the students at the assembly on the 31st. It is sure to be a fun experience for all.
We also have parent/teacher conferences the week of March 20th. It is early release at 1:00pm for the entire week. Please look within the next week or two for a schedule coming from your child's teacher. During Parent/Teacher Conference Week, we will be having our Book Fair and an evening story time with our librarian, Mrs. Marshall on March 23rd (please see the flier within this newsletter).
Warmly,
Mrs. Nuanes

Attendance Matters!
If your child is not feeling well, you can check for a fever and/or check illness with a COVID test. If they are fever free or have a negative COVID test, please encourage your child to come to school. When students understand the importance of regular school attendance, they view school as important and will create healthy habits and expectations about school.
Please avoid scheduling doctor or dentist appointments during the school day as to not interrupt your child's learning. Keep in mind that family vacations during the school year, are unexecused absences. Together, we can help set your child up for success!
