Centennial's "Newsday Tuesday"!
Centennial Elementary Families' Weekly Newsletter 3/21/2023
A note from the principal . . .
Hi, Centennial Families!
Welcome back from Spring Break! I hope your family was able to enjoy making some fun memories with your child(ren) during this time!
Gentle Reminder Regarding Birthday Celebrations at School
Dear families, our wonderful Cafeteria Team has begun Celebrating Students' Birthdays by baking them cupcakes during their birthday month and celebrating them during lunch! We are also recognizing them during our monthly "Centennial Celebration" assemblies! Because EPS policy states we are not allowed to share individual birthday treats at school (I understand this may be disappointing), I wanted to assure you that we will celebrate your child in other special ways during his / her birthday)! Thank you for understanding and if you wish to read more on this, please reference page 2, #9 of The Edmond Public Schools Student Handbook.
Students 3rd Quarter Progress Reports Available this Friday at 5:00 PM
Families will be able to view their student's progress reports in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in a few days! Click here for more information, please.
Exciting Parent Involvement Activities to be revealed here next week!
We appreciate you!
With kind regards,
Ellie Webb, Principal

Calling all 2015-16 College-bound Centennial Buffalos!
Centennial Admin, Faculty and Parents have partnered with EPS high schools to offer a single $1,000 PTO-funded scholarship to a graduating EPS senior heading to college this fall! This “Brave Buffalo Scholar” will exemplify the Centennial Creed traits demonstrating to our elementary students there is “no limit to what you can achieve.”
To read more about eligibility and share with a graduating EPS HS senior you know, click HERE. The more “shares” the better to get out this inaugural news!
Campus Refresh
Thanks to Centennial Elementary PTO for the new volleyball net and 3 tether balls that were installed over Spring Break! The PTO also partnered with Window Genie to freshen up the school with pressure washing and window cleaning!
