MACAC Virtual College Fairs
The Michigan Association of College Admissions Counselors (MACAC) is hosting two upcoming virtual college fairs. Please share with your students and families.

MCAN Advocacy Week - May 17-21
The Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) will be hosting advocacy week activities which include meeting virtually with state legislators to discuss postsecondary education. The event is open to anyone with a passion for college access and postsecondary education attainment.
You must RSVP by April 23, 2021 and space is limited.

Easter Seals Therapy Services Offered at CJHS!
Easter Seals and CCS are currently working together to bring therapy services to CJHS students! Easter Seals is already servicing two of our buildings and now will be extending into CJHS!
Therapy services are offered once a week for 30 minutes a session during school hours. Due to the current health crisis, therapy services are currently being done online via zoom. Students will have a private area in our building to meet with their therapist utilizing their CCS issued Chromebook.
If you're interested in your student receiving these services, please reach out to your students counselor now for more information.

The My Habitat Clarkston Spring Community Impact Weekend is April 24-25, 2021. There are two Clarkston Community Schools projects and your help is needed! We will be weeding beds and spreading mulch around the buildings at Pine Knob Elementary and Springfield Plains Elementary. Bring work gloves, wheelbarrows, pitchforks, and rakes. Ages 10+. Sign up today! (If the SignUp for school landscaping is full, please sign up for another worthy project!)

Clarkston Area Youth Assistance Scholarships Available
Could your student benefit from individual tutoring? Is your teen ready to take driver's training? Interested in having your child or teen get involved in extracurricular activities? Clarkston Area Youth Assistance may be able to help! Scholarships are available to help cover the cost of skill-building activities such as tutoring, Driver's Training, and extracurricular activities for families who income-qualify.

Free College Tuition in Michigan: Which Schools Offer What
Nice article from Bridge Michigan that details free college tuition programs at many of our colleges and universities in Michigan. It includes a brief description for each program as well as links to further information when available.
