No School on Monday, February 13

There will be no school on next Monday, February 20th in honor of President's Day and George Washington's Birthday. George Washington was the first President of the United States of America. George Washington was an American military officer, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first president of the United States from 1789 to 1797. Appointed by the Continental Congress as commander of the Continental Army, Washington led Patriot forces to victory in the American Revolutionary War.

Question of the Day Winners for Last Week!

Congratulations to Mrs. Avakyan's class for being the Question of the Day winners for this week! Keep answering those questions and your homeroom could be next!

Rules Reminder

BE ON TIME!

You must be on time for every class every day. Being on time means that you are in your seat in class when the bell rings! We had a tardy sweep last week and 46 students were caught out of class. Tardy sweeps can happen at any time. The school rule is that you will receive a detention if you are late 5 times to any class. If you are caught in a tardy sweep you AUTOMATICALLY get detention!

Sports Update

Our final game of the Basketball/Volleyball season is an away game Thursday against Rosemont MS. Wish our teams luck for this away game. As a reminder, Wilson students are not allowed to attend the game at Rosemont unless you are with your parent.

Digital Citizenship Tip of the Week!

Copyrights: It's so easy to copy and paste something off the Internet, but just because it's simple doesn't make it the right thing to do. In many cases, it's actually against the law because of copyrights.

Chromebook Tip of the Week!

Your Chromebook should NEVER be picked up by the lid. Be sure to close the Chromebook before it is picked up.

Visit the Wilson Student Help Corner Website where you can find video tutorials answering your frequently asked questions about apps used in your classrooms. We also have tutorials in Armenian and Spanish.

Morning Call!

Every morning our amazing school band plays our morning call! This year our song was written by our very own Mr. Graziani, based on the famous quote by Mark Twain. Below are the lyrics for this amazing song and we would love for you to join us in singing during first period.

It’s Never Wrong To Do the Right Thing

It’s Never Wrong

to do the right thing

And every morning

we’re gonna sing.

With love, don’t you know,

You’re gonna reap just what you sow*.

It’s Never Wrong

to do the right thing

*You reap what you sow is a proverb that says future consequences are inevitably shaped by

present actions.

Lost and Found

Did you lose something? Check the lost and found first. Lost and found is located right inside the doors of the 1000 building right by the tripidome.
