Parents Coffee - March 9th

A big thank you to Kevin Kufeldt from Johnson County Mental Health and all the parents that came out on Thursday for the Parent Coffee. Kevin's information on some of the current challenges with fentanyl, marijuana and other drugs was timely as we all work together to support out students. I have attached a pdf of Kevin's presentation today.

Girl Scout Day Camp Opportunity

Our Girl Scout Day Camp 2023 will have an international aspect this summer and it is so much more interesting from people who are from these places.

We are looking for volunteers that can come to camp 1-4 days of the week, May 31-June 3, to share with the girls the country you are from. Bonus points if you can share about Girl Scouts or Girl Guides from your country. At this time we are thinking it will be set up with tables with any display items from the country for girls in their units to come visit, but we are still developing this idea. Think Science Fair exhibits. It will depend on how many countries/volunteers we have each day. The more countries we can have, the better. Feel free to send me any questions you have. You can call me or text me at 913-522-2758 or contact us with the dates you can help at email address: su678daycamp@gmail.com

We can't wait to show the girls what an interesting world we have!

Thank you,

Theresa Kasper
