We need your help!
Thank you for your consideration
Aloha Ho'ola Ohana
This development grant is right up our alley, with an emphasis in education and training for rural and social disadvantaged areas (like Hawai'i Island) with preference going to projects that service veterans. Well, that just so happens to be who we serve, so we are focused and ready to go after this grant!
Jesse and Laura, owners of NoSpray Hawaii, along with providing natural farming experts and agriculture training instructors have been developing all the curriculum for Ho'ola Veteran Services over the past year. We really feel strongly that with their help and extra effort, we can secure this grant and have the funds to turn our dreams of a veteran sustainable training program into a reality. They have already donated 100's of hours to Ho'ola Farms to insure we made it this far, and we are forever grateful!
Today we are asking for your donations to help us pay them so they can continue to focus on our project through the holiday season. The Grant Deadline is January 21st, 2016 (yikes! thats right around the corner!!) so we need them NOW!!
Mahalo nui loa in advance for your consideration and support. I can't think of a better cause for a veteran service project than this one this holiday season. *100% of your donation today will go towards training and supplies to make this happen. Your donation today is 100% tax deductible.

Ho'ola Farms
Ho’ola Farms was established to create a natural agriculture educational training center for veterans, caretakers and their families while providing an atmosphere that is safe and fun for all the community and children (of all ages) to be apart. This unique property is easy to access, located directly off the main highway only 5 miles outside of Hilo Town. Previously farmed conventionally with chemicals aids and fertilizers (unsafe for children). Ho’ola Farms is converting this land into an alternative farming experience. Over the next few years Ho’ola Farms will be establishing a meandering ¾ mile walking path through a permaculture based food forest overlooking Hilo bay, Mauna Kea and the vast ocean horizon. Nestled amongst the forest walk will be individual member managed plots of various sizes, children play areas, reflection ponds, lunch and rest areas. Unlike most farms, children, families and the community can safely and easily come and be apart and enjoy the abundance of naturally grown, chemical free food that will be produced.
