Easley Weekly Update
Everything You Need to Know For The Coming Week
January 4, 2021
A Note from the principal
Hello Easley families,
Happy New Year and welcome back from winter break! I hope everyone enjoyed the break and found time to relax and spend time with loved ones, whether it was in person or virtual. The year 2020 sure threw us all some giant curve balls and I'm hopeful 2021 can begin to put us on a path toward normalcy as we know it. I'm looking froward to seeing all our students smiling faces on Tuesday morning even though it will be via Zoom.
Monday Remote Learning Day
Tomorrow, Monday, is a remote learning day for students and there will be no live instruction from teachers. Students should login to Canvas or Google Classroom to access their assignments and be counted present for the day. Should you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.
Plan B Easley FAQ
As you know, the DPS Board of Education has voted to implement Plan B later this month if the Covid numbers in the county suggest it is safe to do so. We have not yet received word if this will happen or not. Many families have reached out with questions regarding Plan B implementation. I have created an FAQ document thinking it may be helpful to share the questions other Easley parents have posed and the answers we have at the moment. Please keep in mind things are ever changing and nothing is set in stone. Easley Plan B FAQ Document
