COME TOGETHER IN PRAYER

PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12)

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Waldo Werft went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 8.

  • Please pray for the group from CCC traveling back from Israel this week.

  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

ELDER OF THE WEEK

  • Carlos García, his wife Mary Beth, and their adult daughters Christina (Jordan) Conroy and Jenna.

PASTOR OF THE WEEK

CHURCH OF THE WEEK

  • Iglesia de Dios Tiempos Profeticos

Prayer Requests: For our children and couples to continue to grow in the Lord.

There are more concerns within the body at Christ Community Church. Please come to the Lobby Counter on Sunday for a more complete and detailed list of the people who are in need of your prayers. Contact Pastor Rick to update the Prayer List.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH

Gilmer & Julie Paden - SEND International, Philippines

Our mission is to build up the churches in the Philippines and in other nations and to plant churches where none exist. We do this through evangelism, nurturing disciples, and developing leaders.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for our family’s health and safely as we all travel around the city in our daily lives.
  • Pray for continued growth and fruit in the ministries we are currently involved in. Gilmer serves at a local church we are partnering with, plus we train and promote missions in Mindanao and lead discipleship groups throughout the week.
  • Pray as we finish this last year of our four-year term here in Davao. We have a lot to wrap up before our return to the States in June. Please pray for all the details as they sometimes feel overwhelming.
  • Praise that Gilmer was invited to host a 2-hour weekly program on the Christian radio station here in a Davao talking about missions!
