Mustang Mart

The Mustang Mart is pre-selling cancer-out t-shirts this week! Stop in the school store to order a shirt in the color of your choice- we have 14 different options available. Orders are due by Friday and shirts will be available for pickup starting on September 30th. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity. SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA will have a meeting directly after school on Sept.16 in room 1211. For students that can't make the meeting, we will have a make up meeting Friday morning Sept.17th at 7:30a.m. in room 1211.

Girls' Soccer

Any girl interested in playing soccer this Spring we will have an informational meeting this Thursday Sept 16th at 3:45 in Lecture Hall B. We will discuss off season conditioning and indoor. If you can not make it, see Coach Abueg or Coach Harding.

Interact Club is hosting a food drive September 20-24, benefiting your fellow Mustangs. Remember to bring non-perishable items to your 5th hour class next week. The winning 5th hour will receive Eileen's Cookies! See Mrs. Betzold with any questions.

Computer Science Club

The first Meeting of the Computer Science Club will be this Wednesday (September 15th) at 3:25pm in Mr. Ringenberg's room (1627). Mr. Ringenberg will be going over the general overview of the year and the various activities the club participates in. If you have any interest please attend, anyone may join.

Slam Poetry Club

Millard North's Slam Poetry Club, LTAB, will be meeting in-person today, Wednesday, September 15th at 3:30 PM in room 2151. In addition to writing and developing your voice through poetry, you will have an opportunity to submit your work for competition. All students are welcome! One-Act

Calling students of all grade levels! One-Act is holding auditions for our 2021 show, Defying Gravity in Lecture Hall B on Tuesday, September 21st after school from 3:30-6:00. Look for the blue signs around the school or see Mrs. Williamson in room 2134, Miss Gutierrez in room 2142 or Mrs. Murphy in room 2154 for more information. Students should join the Google Classroom and look for the audition form prior to auditioning. Everyone is invited to audition, regardless of theatre experience.

Colleges Visiting

We have a list of colleges that will be visiting us in the month of September. Juniors and Seniors please login to Naviance and review the list on the home page-"What's New". Register for any college you would like to speak with. Need help? Go to the Counselors Office and speak with Ms. Jones.

University of Chicago will being visiting Wednesday, September 15th from 9am-10am, Rockhurst University on Thursday, September 16th from 9am-9:30am and Spelman College will be doing a virtual visit on Thursday, September 16th from 11am-11:30am

A Night Under the Stars Homecoming is Saturday, September 25th from 8-11pm. If you want to bring a guest from another school, pick up a guest form from the main office or access the online form on the MN home page. Buy your ticket for $15 at the concession stand during lunch September 20-24th. The first 1000 students to buy their ticket get a free t-shirt! Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

Health Screening for Sophomores

Millard Public Schools is required to conduct non-diagnostic health screens to all enrolled 10th grade students. The purpose of the screening is to identify any possible health concerns and provide feedback to the student’s parents/guardians for follow up. The screenings measure the following: height, hearing, vision, weight, and dental health.


High School Screening Dates:

Millard South: September 23, 2021

Millard North: September 22, 2021

Millard West: September 29, 2021


If any student’s screening reveals a concern, the parent/guardians will be notified in writing within 30 days.

New COVID-19 Web Page

Keeping our community informed about the ongoing response to COVID-19 is a district priority. The district COVID-19 web page has been redesigned. It can be found in the same place, on the first page of our district website. You may also click here to reach it directly. Along with safety and response protocols, the page also tracks the virus within our district. It shows current active cases of COVID-19, plus the number of active cases per building. The information is updated each weekday morning.
