The Good News
June 24 - St. John XXIII Catholic School
Leadership Message
This is it... "My" final St. John XXIII Sunday "Good News" for our families...
As the school year comes to a close, our minds and hearts are full. It’s been a great year! Together we’ve learned much and shared experiences that will long remain with us in the years to come. The strength of our community and wholehearted passion to make our school a wonderful place of learning for our children primarily, but for all, makes St. John XXIII truly a special place.
Special thanks to our parents who have contributed in ways small, large, and unimaginable! Thanks for getting your kids to school on time each day and helping your kids in the learning processes of personal growth, faith and curriculum; the partnership between home, school, and parish is important.
I would like to thank our hard working and caring staff members who have made a huge difference to our students . Their commitment is outstanding and our kids are the beneficiaries. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for our kids and knowing that education is about faith, joy, wonder and fostering curiosity, along with the development of social skills so needed to succeed. For these, and a million other things, we are truly grateful.
When we look back at this year, remember to reflect on the incredible work you have accomplished and the many lives you have touched as a school community through our faith and commitment to education. Going forward, we wish the very best for the 2018-2019 school year to both OLA & St. John XXIII school communities, and of course, our soon to be grade 5s off to St. John Paul II. We are thankful for the legacy they are leaving behind.
In closing, I take this opportunity to congratulate all students of St. John XXIII on a successful year! I wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable summer. Never forget where you came from.
In Christ,
Mrs. Tracy Melnyk, Principal
