168th Lighthouse School in the Nation, Building Leaders
Message from Administration
This summer, we hope that you found the much deserved "Balance" we all need. The school year brings lots of energy, excitement, plans, thinking, work, and so much more. It is so important to find balance and sharpen your saw. We are grateful that our students have had time with their families! Now, we are ready for them to come back.
As we continue branding our school with leadership, inspiration, honor, and excellence, we are adding a new element to our instruction this year, STEAM. We are excited about this initiative and how it will impact student growth. Your teachers will be talking more about this throughout this school year.
The school year is about to begin and we are moving toward some safety changes that we want to communicate. Our new school time will be 7:40am to 2:55pm. Please note that with the new "Buzz-In" Monitor System all exterior doors will remain locked and all visitors will use the front entrance to gain access to the building. Take a moment to watch the video below for even more details on the safety practices in place for the 2018-19 school year. We understand some of these changes may seem as an inconvenience, but all of our decisions have been made with the best interest of all of our students and staff. Their safety is a priority! Thank you for understanding, and we would also like to thank the staff, students, and parents that aided in the making of this video for our community.
