MORNING DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
I just wanted to clarify a point in regards to our morning drop-off routine as it has become more commonplace recently: Please make sure you do not park in the drop-off lane in the morning to wait to pull into the parking lot after the last bus arrives (or any reason for that matter).
Parking in the drop-off lane makes it more difficult for other vehicles to navigate the drop-off lane. This, in turn, makes it more dangerous for students.
If you need to wait, please drive west on 7th Avenue and wait on the north side of the road between 13th Street and 12th Street (the section of road south of the RBMS large field).
I also appreciate the fact that we have a perfect record this year of not running over the principal during drop-off or pick-up times :)

Students have had a great time participating in Pennies For Patients for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our students have learned about how kindness and working together for one common goal will help us to become proactive members of the community. The money students have raised will help fund research for the study of the disease and the goal of finding a cure. The donations will help fund research in 7 different countries. Fulton Elementary raised $1,484.61. Great work! Thanks to all for participating. We are proud to be a part of funding research for a cure.
March Book Madness!!
Cups, Pints, Quarts, and Gallons
This week, the 5th-grade students were learning about conversions between gallons, quarts, pints, and cups. The 5A students learned about Gallon Land and then they had the opportunity to travel into 5B and 5C to teach their peers about Gallon Land as well. As we were wrapping up Gallon Land in 5A, Mr. Hoese stopped in to say hello. We decided that we needed to teach him about Gallon Land as well. Owen stood up and gave him the lesson and then Mr. Hoese quizzed Owen over the information to make sure that he really understood it. It was a great learning experience for all!
