News from Principal Schwartz
WELCOME BACK! Hope you all had some lovely moments surrounded by loved ones.
A few welcome back reminders:
Students will always go outside for recess unless it is -10 degrees F below zero (air temperature or wind chill). Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing to go outside.
Our attendance percentage dipped down a bit in December with so many illnesses going around. Hopefully we will have a germ-free January. We miss your student when they are not here. Please try to schedule appointments outside the school day. The late arrivals and early releases provide interruptions to your child's educational journey and interrupts the class as well.
For students with patterns of frequent absences or last minute weekly appointments, I will reach out to you to discuss when a doctor's note is needed.
All my best,
Jen
