Friendship Guy Noschese
what friendship in real life
quotes from victor his friends and the creature
Henry said "My dear Victor ," cried he,"what, for God's sake, is the matter?(Shelley.46) Henry wants to know what's wrong with victor because he is concerned about his friend. This is how friends try to help people in life. Victor said, "Do not ask me"(Shelley.46) Victor does not want his friend Henry to know or ask him about the creature he has made. When you do something bad you don't want them to know because they might tell other people and then it could get out on social media and you could get into trouble and it could possibly ruin your life.
The creature said, "I ought not to make the attempt until I had first become master of their language.."(Shelley.94) when he decides to take a chance and introduce himself to the cottagers. The creature realizes that he must have something in common with the cottagers so that he might be accepted by them. This is also important when making friends through social media. The Creature said, "When i thought of my friends, of the mild voice of De Lacey, the gentle eyes of Agatha, and the exquisite beauty of the Arabian, these thoughts vanished in a gush of tears somewhat soothed me(Shelley.118) The creature is saying are the thought of his friends were making the creature feel better. When you are thinking of good times with your friends it makes you feel better. Victor said, "Must i then lose this admirable being? I have longed for a friend; i have sought one who would sympathize with and love me(Shelley.188) Victor is thinking to himself he doesn't want to lose his friend Henry or Walton he has waited for a friend who would care about him. When you lose a member of your family to which you are close with and they cared about you tend to feel sad.
