From the Principal's Desk
Hello Rose Pioneer Families,
Save the date and spread the word, please! Holly Broncho Young Fives & Kindergarten Orientation Night is Tuesday, March 16th at 6:00 PM. Join us virtually this Tuesday at 6:00 PM using the WebEx link below to learn about how Holly Area Schools will help build the foundation for your child’s future: https://bit.ly/3chInXL
When you click the link above, it will ask you to register and then send you a confirmation email. If you or someone you know is looking for information on Y5/Kindergarten Enrollment and can't attend the virtual presentation Tuesday evening, have them contact my office via phone or email, or direct them to our school website enrollment page at: https://www.hask12.org/prospective-families/enrollment/
Although it's hard to believe we are two-thirds done with this school year, today was the official end of the second trimester! Report cards will be posted to Skyward next Wednesday and please also watch for a communication coming from your child's teacher regarding Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences. If computer access is an issue, you can request a phone conference; our goal is to reach 100% participation for conferences!
We want to thank all 3rd - 5th grade virtual parents who completed our MSTEP survey. More details will be published soon regarding the MSTEP, which will begin in mid-April.
Thank you for reading and your continued support of our Bronchos!
Sincerely,
Michael Beattie

My Student's School Issued Device is Broken! What Do I Do?
Below are steps that families should take if their student's device is not functioning properly and a repair may be needed.
(1) Create a technology ticket, There are three ways to contact the service desk to create a ticket:
a. Log into the service desk system to create a ticket or,
b. Send an email message to osservicedesk@oakland.k12.mi.us or,
c. Call 248.209.2060
● A Parent must create a ticket for all Y5-8th grade students
● Students in 9th-12th grades may create tickets or have parents create tickets for them.
(2) If the Service Desk is unable to fix the issue, you will be directed to drop the device off at the main office in the building where your student is enrolled.
(3) If your device needs to be sent out for repair your student will be offered a loaner device for those who qualify and while supplies last.
If your device needs to be sent out for repair we may be able to provide a Loaner device, if:
~You have insured your students device.
~If not insured, you pay the $25 repair evaluation fee
~You can make the payment onsite with either E-funds or pay with a check made payable to Holly Area School district. A receipt will be provided upon payment.
Note: If your student receives a loaner device, (s)he will be expected to return the loaner device once their device is repaired. You will be notified via email through the ticketing system and or email directly.
If you have further questions, you are always welcome to contact your school office for additional support.
