Message from the Principal
We celebrated our MUM selling students. The Top 10 sellers were Teagan Sheline, Evan Hinkle, Adeline Stenson, Rowan Humphreys, Emila Hart, Kelsey Harshbarger, Noah Smith, Carter Brobst, Clay Courtney, and Lane Starner. These students received a movie pass or bowling pass, Canes meal, and the opportunity to draw for money prizes. We had 25 other students sale 5 items and they received Cane's meal and the opportunity to draw for money prizes. The students selling 2 items had the opportunity to draw for money prizes. Money prizes were $10.00s, $5.00s, and many $1.00 bills. CONGRATULATIONS!
Thank you for your continuous support at car pick up. Our lines move quickly when we all follow the expectations. K-1 in the back with older siblings and 2-5 in the front. If you have to pick up your child at the end of the day, please come before 3:00 and make sure that we received a note in the morning so that everyone is aware. Late changes cause chaos at the end of the day.
We are having some difficulty with bus students. Please remind your bus student to follow the BUS EXPECTATIONS. Use Voice Level 1, Listen to your driver, No eating on the bus, Keep bus clean, Stay in seat, Keep hands/feet to yourself. This is for the safety of all students. The bus drivers have a very important job and that is providing a safe journey to and from school. Students need to follow the expectations. Please help support the safety of our children.
We have been having a fundraiser and the students are SURE that I am going to be kissing a GOAT. We will see! If we reach our goal, it will happen! All forms are due on November 2. Please get these in right away. I will be sending in the paper order forms with money shortly after counting the orders. All prizes will come after the complany receives orders and completes them. I can't wait to see our results!
We are honoring our Veterans on November 11th. We are inviting our families' veterans to participate in an inside school parade and some refreshments afterwards. We are sending home STARs for your child to decorate with Veterans' name. These will be hung in the cafeteria. Students are asked to wear RED and Blue on November 11th.
Our Thanksgiving break begins on Wednesday, November 23-25th. Enjoy your holiday!
