PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Welcome cold weather!
The chill is in the air for sure and with that always has our lost and found growing. If your child is missing something, please have them look at the table by the office or stop by yourself. Many times the students don't recognize their own items.
For the 1st time Abrams students in grades 5K - 5th will be going to OFES to celebrate the Veterans in our community. Notes went home to let you know about this and a permission slip will be coming home today. Please be sure to sign this so your child can participate.
School attendance is important for so many reasons. I monitor attendance on a weekly basis as I want to make sure that we are working together to provide the best education possible. If you receive a letter, please don't worry. I communicate with families as much as possible so you are fully aware of where your child is at with attendance. Days can creep up after a while when it is a day here and there and then a vacation comes up. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I hope that you enjoyed meeting with your child's teacher and learning about how things are going so far. Communication and teamwork are vital for your child's education. Message the teacher with any questions or concerns you have so you stay informed on what is happening.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child or school.
