Important Information on how to register your ELC Student
By now you should have received a packet with instructions on how to register your ELC student for Kindergarten. In this packet are forms that you will need to complete. These forms need to be dropped off or mailed to your home school. Please do not drop them off to the ELC.
Also in this packet are directions on how to upload the three required forms of residency within the Aspen Parent Portal. If you need to have your Aspen password reset, please e-mail Mrs. Johnston at jjohnston@attleboroschools.com.
The Attleboro Public School System makes every effort to place students in their neighborhood schools. Please register your incoming Kindergarten student by the close of school on May 1st. However, registrations received after May 1st may result in a placement other than your neighborhood school.
If you have questions regarding Kindergarten registration, please contact your District Home School. Please access this link to determine your home school based on your address.
AT HOME ROUTINE COVID TESTING
Due to the ELC being closed on Friday, March 18th, the At Home Covid Test Kits were sent home on Thursday, March 17th. If you are in Ms. Deanna's class, the kits were sent home on Wednesday, March 16th. Please remember to test your child Sunday night or Monday morning.
Please know that the actual testing is completely painless and easy. It is NOT a deep swab up their nose. Their nose is gently swabbed just inside of the nostrils.
Interested families can find the link below to consent. Please make sure to select the Early Learning Center as your child's school.
Reminders
Field:
During school hours, the back field is not open, as it is used by classes. Please be mindful of this during arrival and dismissal times.
Please remember that there is no driving or parking in the coned off areas. It is helpful if you relay that information to any friends/relatives helping with drop off or pick up.
Absences:
I just wanted to thank the families who contact the office when their child will be absent for the day. While it is fine to text/remind/email your child's teacher as well, the office still needs to be notified. The ELC office number: (508) 223-1563 or you mail e-mail Mrs. Johnston at jjohnston@attleboroschools.com.
