Happening tomorrow!
Spring Eggstravaganza
Join us next Friday, April 2 for a Drive-Thru Spring Eggstravaganza hosted by the Town of Sunnyvale, Sunnyvale ISD and the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce.
Sunnyvale ISD will provide a bag to collect your candy and eggs. Additionally, Robert the Rabbit will be on site for socially distanced pictures! For everyone's safety, please do not exit your vehicle. This is a drive thru event.
Traffic will enter from Collins Road onto Raider Drive, turn left on Hounsel Lane and exit back out on Collins Road.
Library plans Book Sale
The Doris Padgett Public Library is currently in the process of purging items in their collection to make room for new content. A Book Sale has been planned for Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m at the Library.
Thousands of books, movies, furniture, and more will be for sale and all proceeds will benefit the Doris Padgett Public Library. Please plan to pay with cash if you are interested in purchasing items. The event will be held outdoors for COVID-19 prevention efforts.
In the event of rain or other inclement weather, a rain-out date has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1.
Are you receiving emergency alerts?
If you are not receiving emergency alerts on your cell phone from the Town, please register at ALERTS.
Alerts can be received via text or phone call. We rarely send these out, but when we do it is critical that you receive them. One example is when the outdoor warning sirens are activated.
Harris Addition Construction
Construction for Phase I of the Harris Addition Sewer and Rehabilitation Project is scheduled to begin at the beginning of April. Door hangers with additional information were delivered this week to residents who reside east of Manor Way.
