What is Copyright?
Copyright is the rights to share and distribute someone's work. The original owner of the work may share and distribute their creation any way they want. However, if someone other than the original creator would like to use their work, you must ask the original owner for permission. It serves as a form of protection for the owner of the original work. Copyright can be used to protect literary, musical, and technological works. In order to avoid violating copyright laws, it is best to remember to ask for permission when using someone's work.
