Holiday Card Contest
Each year, the Superintendent's office and Governing Board send out holiday cards to administrators in the district, surrounding districts, city officials, and local groups. We have students submit works of art and then some are selected to have their art printed on the district's holiday cards.
If your student would like to participate, please have them use the attached sheet for the drawing submission. The winning student's drawing will be used as the cover of our holiday card and the student's name, grade and school will be included on the inside of the card.
The attached sheet must be used for the drawing submission. The list of rules are included on this form. The forms can be mailed directly to me at:
Sue O'Connell
Holiday Card Competition

All submissions are due to me by November 19, 2021. The parent will be notified if their student's drawing is selected. The winning students will be invited to the December 14th Board meeting where they will be presented with their card.

Parking Lot Procedures & Traffic Flow
Please review the front loop procedures...
DROP OFF PROCEDURES
Before arriving at school, parents will conduct a health self-check to ensure the safety of their child(ren) and others.
No student entry prior to 8:40 a.m. (AM) or 10:30 a.m. (PM TK-K). Please do not drop off early as there will be no student supervision.
Cars making the left hand turn into the loop MUST turn left into the parking lot and park. Please do not merge into the student drop off lane.
Only cars making a right hand turn into the loop may pull through the drop-off/pickup lane.
There is one vehicle drop-off location:
Parents will drop off students at the front of the school using the middle lane (the lane closest to the curb will be coned off to prevent merging of lanes) if by car. Leaving the front loop by exiting onto Sutter Home St.
For students with transportation services, the bus will enter campus at the bus loop.
If students ride their bikes or scooters to school, they will park their wheels in the bike area closest to the gate they are entering. Helmets are required.
PICKUP PROCEDURES
Siblings may be together while they wait to be picked up. Older siblings will be asked to wait with the youngest sibling.
- There is one vehicle pick-up location:
Front of the school
Parents will pick up students at the front of the school using the middle lane (the lane closest to the curb will be coned off to prevent merging of lanes) if by car. Leaving the front loop by exiting onto Sutter Home St.
- Bus loop is for students riding the bus ONLY. Please DO NOT use this loop to pick up students. For students with transportation services, aides and teachers accompany students to the boarding location.
Cars making the left hand turn into the loop MUST turn left into the parking lot and park. Please do not merge into the student drop off lane.
Only cars making a right hand turn into the loop may pull through the drop-off/pickup lane.
If students walk home, they are to meet their parents and/or sibling(s) at a predetermined location in front of the school away from all the cones and lines.
If a student is riding a bike or scooter, it is important no one hangs out at the bike rack and everyone continues to social distance as they quickly move off-campus. Helmets are required.
TK/KINDER DROP OFF and PICK UP
- ALL TK/K drop off and pick up will take place at the kinder gate. Please plan to park and walk your student to the gate. Please use the crosswalks to cross the street and through the traffic in the pick up loop.
