Ocean
The Problem
The issue of piracy poses a significant threat to world shipping. In 2011, there were 439 pirate attacks and 45 merchant vessels hijacked worldwide. 237 of these attacks and 28 of these hijackings occurred in the Gulf of Aden, off the coast of Somalia, and in the wider Indian ocean.
Possible Solutions
More Military
Have more military in the area and having more armed ships will reduce the attack immediately and help ships that are being attacked.
Armed Gards one ships
Put trained people on the ships that are being attacked. These gards will provide a good defense from the pirates.
Track criminals their networks
Track down the pirats to where they are from and take out their base work.
