What was is the Scientific Revolution?
It was the emergence of modern science during the early modern period. It was cause by the renaissance which renewed interest in scientific subjects.
What was the geocentric theory?
The geocentric theory states that the Earth was the center of the universe and that the rest of the universe rotated around the Earth which was motionless.People believe on the theory because of Ptolemy. It was a case of both secular and religious authorities forcing a theory to be the received wisdom, due to a reluctance to accept new theories.
who were the people associate with this?
Copernicus
Mathematician and astronomer who proposed that the sun was stationary in the center of the universe and the earth revolved around it. He didn't publish his work quickly.
Kepler
He was a German astronomer who first stared laws of planetary motion.He invented the telescope.
Galileo
He was and Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer; who played a major role in the scientific revolution. He was a true Renaissance man. The church didn't like him and put him in house arrest. He discovered that the planets orbit around the sun and not around Earth.
Scientific method
It was a method of procedure that has characterized natural science, since the 17th century. Galileo was contributed to it he was the father of the scientific revolution.
