MIST Experience for Math & ELA
Description: ELA and math teachers will be given the opportunity to take their own MIST practice test. There is a lot to be learned from experiencing the test for yourself. Test results will be anonymous. Participants will reflect upon the testing experience, discuss observations with colleagues, and develop strategies to prepare students for MIST testing.

Intermediate Excel-for Visual Representation and Data Analysis
Description: Learn to use some of the more advanced features and functions in Excel in this hands-on workshop. TN Standards include data interpretation by students in a variety of ways. Objectives include the following tasks/functions: *Find and Replace, *Concatenate, *Text to Columns, *Conditional Formats, *Basic Functions (Average, Sum, etc.), *Protecting sheets and workbooks, *Mail merge, *Data Forms, *Creating a chart, *Inserting Leading zeroes, *Taking data from Excel and create charts in PowerPoint.
