Thoughts from Dr. Pacatte
As we look ahead to Spring Break, I know many of us are looking forward to a chance to relax and, in some cases, have planned trips out of state or even out of the country. But Covid-19 continues to be a concern we all share. Please be aware of the Travel Guidance from the CDC https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/page/spring-break-travel. Please continue to protect yourself and others by following the recommended CDC Guidelines - wearing your mask, washing your hands, and getting vaccinated.

Prairie Trail's 2022 Bluestem Book Challenge
Prairie Trail's 2022 Bluestem Book Challenge has come to an end. 124 students and staff met this year's challenge. The winning book, as voted on by our students and staff, was Blended by Sharon Draper. The actual 2022 Bluestem book winner will be announced later this month. A special award went to 5th Grader Glenn Raykiewicz who not only read and passed Accelerated Reader quizzes on all 20 nominated titles this year, but also did the same thing the other two years he has been at Prairie Trail School. No student has ever accomplished this goal in the history of our Bluestem Challenge. Congratulations to Glenn and all the Bluestem challenge winners!
