Straight from the Hardt

What a great Dedication event on Tuesday! Thank you to so many of you who enjoyed this celebration with us! We hope to carry that momentum and energy with us all year long!

What to anticipate on the First Day of School:

  • 7:45am- All students and teachers gather in the Ridgeline Stadium for a WELCOME BACK message from me!
    • Arrive by 7:30 and head directly to the stadium, students will be allowed in the building right after the welcome assembly.
    • Yes, carry your backpack with you. Limited supplies are needed the first few days, so no need to overload your backpack on day 1!
  • 8:15am- Assembly ends and students will head to their ADVISORY teacher’s room. Check your schedule for the name and location of your advisory teacher. Lists will also be posted in the commons.
  • 8:45am- 1st period begins and all students will continue through their 6-period day.

One of the many great things about this year is that we are starting with our regular schedule full day with students! We do a have to follow the mandate from the governor and wear masks indoors. At lunch students will take off their masks while eating and be 6 feet apart. Students may eat in the commons, in the gym (bleachers) or outside, as weather permits. Thank you for following this as the most important thing is that our students stay with us full time.

9th Grade Orientation on September 7th from 5pm-7pm

The evenings of August 25th and 26th found the Ridgeline High School gym full of life as we trained our nearly 70 Falcon Link Crew Leaders in preparation for the upcoming first ever Ridgeline Falcons Freshmen Orientation! The Link Leaders did tons of team-building, learned the skills needed to lead their small groups of freshmen, painted posters, made name tags, and did a practice tour of the school so they can help our incoming freshmen transition into high school with confidence and success. Our Falcon Link Crew will assist in creating a positive culture/climate at RHS, as well as be helpful to all students.

Thank you to our Falcon Link Leaders for showing up for our training days! They were awesome! We can’t wait to see them in action on September 7th from 5 to 7 p.m. for Freshmen Orientation.

We would like our RHS Freshmen-Class of 2025 to enter through the main entrance to pick up their name tags in the RHS Commons, then we will lead them out to the stadium for the first large group portion of the orientation event. Go Falcons!

Parking Pass Registration

Falcon families- If you have a student who is planning to drive to school this fall please take a moment to fill out the parking registration form. There is no fee associated with a parking pass this year but we are requiring any student driver to have a parking pass visible in their car. It’s important that all cars parked in our parking lot during the school day are registered with RHS so that we are able to identify any car that doesn’t belong on our campus. This will also help us in the event that we need to investigate an incident that has occurred in the parking lot.
