The date for Read Across America changed. We moved it to Friday after open house. So many fun things coming up!
Last week the kids really worked hard for me. We have several big projects we are in the middle of and they are focusing and getting the job done! I am very proud of them.
My computer is not letting me upload pictures for some reason, so I apologize that there are none on the newsletter.
I have had 14 15 year old girls in my house since Friday for a weekend retreat with our church. I survived and we had alot of fun! Not sure where they get their stamina and energy. You guys have alot to look forward to as parents of teens someday! :)
Have a great week!

WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
Language Arts/Social Studies-We read Someone Loves You Mr. Hatch and talked about empathy. We are still working on biographies and learning so much! The kids will really dive in to their changes over time project this week. We are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together and they beg for one more chapter everyday! So fun!
Science-We are working on natural resources. We will start putting all of our information together for a lapbook to show off at open house. We also completed out mini research project on penguins. I am still reading Mr. Popper's Penguins aloud to them. An oldie but a goodie!
