Mrs. Andre’s 7th grade Journey to Careers class has achieved certification in two areas of S/P2 Automotive training classes: Automotive Safety and Automotive Service Pollution Prevention. S/P2 is intended to ensure students learn about workplace safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA—before they step into the work area. The automotive classes covered the areas of study that students need to know about the hazards of the shop environment—before they enter the workplace. Sunset Middle is proud to help prepare middle school students for high school automotive/shop courses and have our students be a part of certifications needed in many workplaces!!
