Mechanical Engineering-
Research, design, and manufacture machines or devices. This includes building cars, robots, or anything else that produces or consumes power. My dad and I recently rebuilt a '66 Corvette which is why I am interested in this field.
Typical Day?
On a day to day basis, mechanical engineers supervise technicians, plan/manage projects, analyze mechanical structures to ensure stability, and inspect installation of devices.
