Reading/Math
We are in our second week of reading unit 7. During this unit on how people are expected to act in different settings, children will be connecting reading to social studies. We will read books related to how we act at home, school and in the community. We will discuss why we have rules and laws. Children should be working on both the white and pink (unit 8) word cards. Spring will go quickly and I will be assessing all words before the end of the year.
Before Easter break, we will take the Unit 4 math test. In Unit 5, we will create and solve story problems using drawings and equations, work on partners of numbers 2-10 and achieve fluency adding and subtracting within 5.

Library Book Check Out
Our school library is being used for the Wisconsin Forward testing for grades 3-6. Because of this, our weekly time will often be unavailable. I will make every effort to find a time for kids to get new books, but checkout may be sporadic. Thanks for your understanding.
Welcome Kyla!

We are down to our last 4 glue sticks. I'm asking that each family send in 2 more large ones to get us through the year. Thank you.
