Weekly Update -
Upcoming Field Trip -
Sep. 24, 2015 - REMINDER - need permission slips for Arlington Echo Field Trip.
We look forward to participating in leadership and team building exercises.
Dream, Learn, Do, Become (D.L.D.B.) -
In the past the flag had not been lowered and raised on a daily basis, therefore, the wear and tear resulted in the purchase of a flag every other year. Ms. Williams was looking for students to take on the this task. Connor B. told Ms. Williams that he had previous experience in this area and talked to the group about volunteering for the task. They wanted in on this initiative and will be starting the first week in October.
**Be on look out for a new activity - Leaning through Interviews!
Please continue to ask your son about their S.M.A.R.T GOALS and encourage them to use their agenda book. Throughout the year, we will be encouraging the use and practice of Executive Functioning skills through various activities.
Activities
I had a chance to watch an ASA Arsenal soccer game last week. It was fun watching Aidan and Jack compete on the field. I look forward to seeing others soon!
As you know, sports is a great way to learn how to lose and or win, how to compete and work together as a team. These lessons have helped me throughout life.
Have a great weekend!
