Principal's Update
RHS Families,
We have had a great couple weeks to kick off the school year. I am extremely grateful to have everyone back in person each day, and I am so proud of all our students and staff as we continue to navigate COVID protocols. There are a lot of great things going on in and out of the classroom that we will be sharing weekly in the RHS Pirate Chest. Just a reminder that next week, Sept 27th -Oct 1st is Homecoming Week. Have a great weekend!

Laptop Distribution
Spokane Public Schools is now a 1:1 district, providing laptops to each one of our students to encourage blended learning activities in the classroom and at home. Over the past week here at John R. Rogers, we’ve passed out over 1,500 laptops to our students who checked them out in the library during English classes.
This year’s annual Laptop Checkout Form requires a parent/guardian to acknowledge responsibility for district devices checked out to students for use at home. Laptop Insurance is no longer needed as we have purchased Accidental Damage Insurance for student devices. Fines and fee schedule has been updated and is reflected in the new Parent Agreement.
