Happy New Year, Warwick Bears!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful break and began 2023 feeling rested and rejuvenated! It was wonderful to see all the smiling faces of the Warwick Bears come back to kick-off the New Year. In schools we are lucky that we get to celebrate multiple "new year's" over the course of a school year. We use these times as an opportunity to reflect and set new goals and challenges. I also use these times to remind our building of the importance of our Warwick four themes, so that we can be the best versions of ourselves. As a community we focus on being respectful, responsible, cooperative, and showing excellence at school, at home, and in our community.

I love hearing examples of our four themes in action in the community. The next time you spot your child(ren) demonstrating our Warwick four themes at home, on the bus, in the community, etc. please snap a picture and send my way. I would love to feature our Warwick Four Themes in our weekly newsletters.

Did you know that Warwick was recently featured in the CB Bulletin newsletter for our 2022 Giving Project? Check out the story here! Also, be on the lookout for future stories about Warwick's four themes in our weekly newsletters!

Here's to a wonderful, healthy, and productive 2023!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Amy M. Adelman
Proud Warwick Principal

Weather Reminders

As we begin to see winter weather temperatures, please remember to send students to school with jackets, hats, gloves, etc. Mrs. Adelman checks the weather watch guidelines prior to recess each day, and we try to have students go outside at least for a portion of the recess block for fresh air. Please have students dress accordingly for the weather. Students will not go outside when it is actively raining/snowing.

Parent Volunteer Clearances

To be a chaperone for any class field trips and to volunteer for class parties you need to have your clearances and file those clearances with the Central Bucks School District Administrative Offices. Now is a great time to begin completing your required paperwork. Please click here to find all information about clearances and how to upload your required documents.

Children's Theatre Workshop

The CB East Patriot Players are once again hosting our Children's Theatre Workshop on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 1-4:30 pm. The event is a fantastic theatrical exploration day for elementary school students, enthusiastically and skillfully led by the Patriot Players! Students will have the opportunity to sing, dance, act, and perform with the guidance of the Patriot Players. Cost is $25 and includes a "Junior Patriot Player" t-shirt and snack. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A registration form is attached to our Warwick Weekly e-mail. Registration forms are due no later than Jan. 6th. Thank you for supporting the arts in CB!
