STAAR TESTING ALERT: Time to Shine!!

Campus is closed to visitors Monday, Tuesday , and Wednesday this week due to STAAR testing. Our 5th grade students will show what they know in math on Monday. Tuesday is math STAAR for 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. Wednesday is the day for our 3rd, 4th, and 6th graders to shine in Reading and 5th grade will amaze us with their science skills. All of our students have worked hard this year and we know they have the strategies to soar to success!

Stand up to bullies by being a HERO!

Who's a HERO? Helping Everyone Respect Others

How? By being a heroic bystander, we can end bullying once and for all! We will have a different theme each day, a door decorating contest, and we will also have a special guest on Tuesday.

Field Day

It's time to have some friendly competition and show what we have learned in PE this year! Falcon Field Day is April 30th for PK, Kinder, and First Grades and May 1 for Second-Sixth Grades. A detailed schedule will come home soon so mark your calendars and come join the fun!

Kindergarten Kick-off

Monday, May 4th, 6pm

Do you have a child who will be 5 by September 1st or know someone who does? Come to the Kindergarten Kick-off on May 4th, 2015 to pre-register your child. You will hear a brief presentation about what to expect in kindergarten, meet some of the HHE staff, find out what you need to register your child, and receive a welcome packet with some summer activities to prepare your child for their first year of school.

Be a Falcon Volunteer!

Remember, background checks will take up to 48 hours to process. NOTE – the box in the upper right corner of background check page will be RED “Pending”, or BLUE “Up to Date”. The background check is not complete until box is... BLUE.

We will require the following documentation to be brought to the VIPS badge sessions:
1) A printed out paper copy of a completed background check showing the volunteer’s 2015 background check expiry date (your VIPS credentials).
2) A photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
3) Your old VIPS badge, if available (will be destroyed).
We cannot accept an image of a completed background check on a smartphone or device. You MUST bring a print out of your new VIPS credentials.
