Movie Creation
A 15 minute movie takes for about 2 - 3 weeks. However doing a 3 minute segment will take you for about 1 week. There is 5 steps to make a movie which are story board script, getting cast, filming, editing, and sharing the film. We use a special camera to film which is Sony Cameras HD. It takes 1 camera to make a film however, to make a good film it will take up to 4 cameras. If you dont want to come out but still want to be part of the movie you may do so. You can be the director, producer or editor. You don't have to be experienced at all. You will get at least 2 weeks to finish your production. Some projects will be in groups, so your group can be to 4 to 5 people per group. The teacher will grade you according to getting the job done, how great they can tell the story line, & editing.

Maverick Montage
The Maverick Montage is a show that students in Media Tech do. They do skits or videos that they show on television on Channel 16 known as (Maverick Montage-Winn Pulse). They go around school to create videos or segments. Students come up with their own videos to do or they go around videotaping our school clubs (Cheerleading,Silver line, Band, etc.) Once they have the video completed, their video gets published on tv in the Maverick Montage!

Music Video by Students
This music video was made in one week. Filmed it all in two hours, and the editing took us about three - four days. The video was filmed at the Maverick County Lake. For the editing we use the I - Movie. I - Movie is a program that's installed in all apple computers. Since the song is a country we didn't want to edit too many effects because country is simple and with too many effects it can mess up the out look of the video.
How Media Tech Started
The rise of new media has increased communication between people all over the world and the Internet. It has allowed people to express themselves through blogs, websites, pictures, and other user-generated media.
