Word From The Woods
Bishop Woods School Newsletter - Week of 4.19.2020
As we return from April recess, I am hoping that you remain healthy and are continuing to practice social distancing. While it remains difficult to balance working from home (and staying in much more than I am used to), I know that it is for a good reason.
As we move in to week three of online learning, all students should have access to Google Classroom. Please note that attendance is taken each day based on students that are accessing this platform and completing the daily assignments. If you are unsure of how to access Google Classroom, or are having any technical issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to any staff member at Bishop Woods...we can all guide you in the proper direction.
Please note that food distribution will continue at all New Haven school sites from 9am-12pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. There are numerous resources available in the City of New Haven for food distribution. Please see links below this letter for more information. If you are in need of support, do not hesitate to reach out to me, Ms. Crisci, or any of our support staff.
Lastly, this Wednesday, April 22nd we will celebrate Earth Day! This year marks the 50th anniversary of this holiday!! This week's challenge will be a Spring Scavenger Hunt in honor of Earth Day! Details are provided in the challenge section of our newsletter. There are many other ways to celebrate our Earth as well. Feel free to send any picture and/or videos of how your family recognized this holiday this week!
Stay in & stay well,
