HomeBRIDGE 2023-2024 Vol. 18
Week of January 8, 2024
Things to Note
- There will be NO TUTORING this week at the Valley Library unless students want to make special arrangements with Teresa, as Adam will be out of the office all week.
- We will be tracking 2nd quarter progress this week and using that as a comparison for 3rd quarter progress. KEEP WORKING!
- We will be reaching out to seniors this week to set up a time to meet and make sure you're on track for graduation.
- The next Parent Group Meeting will be Monday, February 12th.
- Please be sure to get your reimbursements in for any expenditures you made between October and December. If they aren't turned in to Teresa by this week, your request will not be processed.
Reimbursement News
Final payouts for requests submitted in October will be on January 12th. Thank you for your patience!
There was a lot of back and forth with families to obtain accurate and complete documentation. This is one of the biggest hold ups in the process and results in longer wait times. Please keep in mind the criteria required for a quick and easy reimbursement process:
1. Date of purchase
2. Vendor name
3. Payer and/or student name
4. Itemization of purchases with cost of individual items
5. Total Cost
6. Proof of Payment
If you have multiple pages that show this information, please make sure there is identifying information on EVERY page that allow us to determine that all pages are part of the same purchase.
PLEASE! Screen shots from you phone and photos/images taken WITH your phone are the WORST kind of documentation. Screen shots are always incomplete. Photos are often blurry and hard to read.
The BEST kind of documentation you can provide is by logging into the vendor website (for example Amazon) and going to your account and finding an invoice. You can PRINT documentation to a PDF and then you can email it in with your form. You can use your smart phone to scan multiple pages of documents to one PDF (this is MUCH preferred ... putting ALL the pages of your request into one PDF). The better your documentation is the easier it is to process and the faster you get paid.
