A Message from the Principal

November 8, 2021

Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,

Last Wednesday night the Home and School Association hosted our Parent Strategic Planning Focus Group and my thanks go out to all of you who attended. I really appreciated our open and caring conversations about our beloved HFCS! We had five tables full of parents and every table voted on its most important points for each domain/category. The ideas brought to this fall’s parent survey were also included in our discussions, so many parent voices were heard.

Here are the results of our discussions.

Thank you to Sarah Birdsbill Rich for coming to PK on Thursday to speak to us about Native American Heritage. Mrs. Rich's family belongs to the Hidatsa Mandan and rikara (MHA) Nation in North Dakota. Their family along with PK4 daughter Marie spend time on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation each summer.

We were honored to hear her speak on past and current traditions and share pictures of family history with our class.
