This semester, the Wolverine Library will be sponsoring another AR Reading Contest and the prize will be an Kindle Fire HD!
Battle of the Books
Four of our top readers have been preparing to compete in PSJA's 2nd Annual high school Battle of the Books. Students had to read a total of 6 books and AR test on them. The students who read the books by December 2nd and received the highest AR scores on them were selected for the team. This year's team members are: Valeria Garcia, Alexis Salas, Erin Reyes and Jose Hinojosa. These "Book Warriors" have been meeting during their lunch periods and after school to study and prepare to keep their championship title in a tournament that will be held on Friday, January 23 at Southwest High School. All of the district's high schools will be represented at the tournament. Will it be a "back to back" championship? We'll soon find out! Good luck guys!
