Don't forget to vote!
Early voting for the November 8 election is underway, and I am reaching out to encourage you to exercise your right to vote in this important election. Plano ISD has five propositions on the ballot:
- Proposition A is a Voter Approval Tax Rate Election, which is required by the state in order to ask voters to consider approving a modified tax rate to increase revenue for student programs as well as teacher and staff salaries. If approved, Plano ISD’s total tax rate will be 6.1 cents lower than last year’s rate. (read more)
- Propositions B, C, D and E, are asking voters for permission to issue bonds to pay for infrastructure updates, including campus renovations, and security and technology upgrades. (read more)
Visit www.pisd.edu/election2022 to learn more about each proposition and the proposed projects for each of our Plano ISD schools. Thank you for taking the time to learn more and for using your voice at the polls. Early voting continues through November 4 and Election Day is November 8.
Kindest regards,
Dr. Theresa Williams,
Superintendent of Schools

Please visit plano.voly.org to create a volunteer account and begin this process. These items will need to be completed by volunteers each school year.

Meet the Principal
Hello everyone,
Welcome to Boggess! At Boggess Elementary, our mission is to inspire successful life-long learners. It is my belief that the school environment should be a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, learning is a priority for all, connections to the community are strong, and students grow both academically and socially in a safe learning environment.
I love reading, walking, shopping and taking road trips with my family. My husband and I are extremely blessed to have our daughter, her husband and our two wonderful grandchildren nearby.
I am honored to serve the Boggess community and I feel very fortunate to work with such amazing children and such a dedicated staff. I am just as excited for this school year to begin as I was 34 years ago when I first began my career in education. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting those new to the Bengal family.
Working together I know we will make this school year one of growth, excitement, and achievement for all students.
