#You
Digital Storytelling with New Media
You have a story to tell.
Digital storytelling can be a powerful way to learn more about yourself and to share your story. Have you ever wanted to share your interests with the world in an engaging way?
How do we look at new media (bringing together text, images, video, and hypertext) and digital literacies in a way to construct our narratives as individuals? This workshop focuses on crafting your story (personal, academic, or professional) in a multimodal way for a larger audience. This workshop helps you to produce digital artifacts in interactive ways.
Please bring any laptop, tablet, and/or smart phone that you may have available, though certainly not required.
Tuesday, March 25 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm
Instructor: Collyn Warner, who has worked as a new media strategist at non-profits and has presented her new media research on social movements at regional and national conferences.
