This week we will celebrate Valentine's Day with a Spirit Week!
Monday- LOVE For The Birds (EAGLES)
Tuesday- Tutu in Love ( Rock your festive tutu's, outfits, or headwear)
Wednesday- Love and Peace (Spread some peace and love by wearing tye-dye)
Thursday- Love of Comfort ( Every week should end with pjs)
Items not claimed in the lost and found by end of day Thursday will be donated. If you would like to come by this week and check out the lost and found, please stop in.

Smart Watch/ Cell Phone Reminder
We have seen a growing number of students using electronic devices and sending/receiving text messages throughout the day, which has disrupted the learning environment. Please note, cell phones should be in silent mode or turned off and stored in bookbags throughout the day. Smartwatches should not be used to make calls, send messages, or take photos/videos during the school day. Also, note the school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal electronic devices. Our school team will be reminding our students of these expectations regarding personal devices.
We thank all of our families for their continued support and cooperation in limiting disruptions to the classroom.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Cultural Highlights For The Week
Black History Month- Highlights of the Week
David Balogun becomes one of the youngest ever high school graduates. A nine-year-old boy from Pennsylvania who loves science and computer programming has become one of the youngest ever high school graduates, and he has already started accumulating some credits toward his college degree.
David Balogun recently received a diploma from Reach cyber charter school – based in his state’s capital of Harrisburg – after taking classes remotely from his family home in the Philadelphia suburb of Bensalem.
The only person on that list younger than David is Michael Kearney, who still holds the Guinness world record for youngest high school graduate that he set when he was six in 1990, before obtaining master’s degrees at 14 and 18 and then winning more than $1m on gameshows. David would come in higher on that list than the Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow, who was 11 when he finished high school.
