Fall Break
I hope you enjoy your fall break with your family and friends. There is not any assigned work but if you are looking for ways to practice skills learned this quarter, here are a few things you can do:

Scholastic Book Order
A few Scholastic book order forms went home on Friday, If you would like to oder from them all you need is our class code:

Scholastic apologies for the delay in Ethan's, Daniel's and Malachi's order but promises it will be ready to go home with you when we return from fall break.
Picture Day
Picture day will be Tuesday, October 11th.
AR Book Level?
Don't know the reading level of your book? Here are two ways you can find out:
- Go to arbookfinder.com and type in the title, look for BL (book level) and that is the reading level
- Buy the app BookScanner and scan the barcode of the book and find Level
Read Draw Write in Math
This is an example of what RDW should like in math. This is what we are working towards when attacking word problems. Please encourage your child to use this strategy in their homework. Thank you.
Narrative Writing

Opinion Writing
Please see the above anchor chart for our class mentor text. This is an example of what your child's opinion writing should include:

Raz-Kids
Please note the teacher username for Raz-Kids is mcarreon0 (zero). Most students do not have a password for their account but should they need a reminder please look at the back of their homework folder.
