Welcome Back & Happy New School Year!
Faculty Book Club - Yes! Woohoo! Finally!
Read something they might like to read.
Feel free to choose books from any level and share what you are reading with your students. Ask Mrs. Weaver for an I'm Reading... sign to post in your classroom. Discussion date for the end of the semester is TBD.
Here are our selections for the first trimester (images are below):
The Lion and the Bird by Marianne Dubuc
The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher by Dana Alison Levy
Surviving Bear Island by Paul Greci
The Cottage in the Woods by Katherine Coville
Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
Improved Access to the Library Catalog & OverDrive eBooks Coming Soon!
Signing into the catalog enables:
- place books on hold
- create wish lists ("baskets")
- write reviews
Also, access to the OverDrive ebook collection will be integrated into our library catalog software so that you will benefit from a single sign-on process. Meaning, if you log into the catalog using your PowerSchool username and password and select an ebook to read, you will be directly connected to the OverDrive app without needing to sign in separately to check out a book.
The changes to your library catalog usernames and passwords will occur next week. The OverDrive integration will occur within the next two months.
