Message from Dr. Erwin
This week is Staff Appreciation Week. As you think back on your journey to this year there were educators and staff along the way who helped you get to this point. Consider taking a few minutes to let some of them know you appreciate the part they played in your educational story.
Our elementary and middle schools want to celebrate the Class of 2021! Please share your elementary and middle schools in this form so your schools can celebrate you. Thanks to seniors who already did this - no need to do it a second time.
Plans continue to take shape to celebrate the Class of 2021 with joy and enthusiasm. We are excited to share them with you during the Senior Grad Information Session. Friday, May 14th at 1:30. Students in the building will join us in the auditorium with their Beaver Lodge. CDL students will join us by zoom https://beavertonk12.zoom.us/j/87877287390?pwd=QWNnNXlycGs3VDVNNmNETXBSWkdOQT09
We are so proud of all you accomplished and can't wait to celebrate you.
Dr. Erwin

Graduation plans
Graduation Update: Families, please be advised that graduation plans are in the works. As always, we must all remain patient and flexible in case Covid metrics advise us to do something differently. For now, our plans for graduation are the following. Saturday, June 12 from 9-12 pm will be a graduation car parade. For a socially distant graduation experience, Seniors, wearing their caps 'n gowns, will drive through the back stadium lot to the tunes of a DJ and then exit their car for a formal graduation photo with Dr. Erwin. We suggest you pack your car with family and loved ones and then head out to celebrate as you drive off the lot. In the afternoon, from 2-4pm, we will hold an in-person ceremony on the football field complete with speakers, tassle turns and thrown caps, etc. The ceremony will be livestreamed. Seating is very limited and will most likely be only 2 guests per graduate. In addition, parking around BHS is extremely limited and will most likely be limited to one car per family. Please use this form to inform us of your plans for attending the ceremonial events. This will help us with planning.
That evening, starting around 6pm the Grad Night team will host a carnival on the football field. Please visit the Grad Night section on the Seniors page of the BHS website. The carnival will end at about 9:00pm.
On May 10, the Grad Guide with all necessary information will be posted on the BHS graduation web page. Please view this guide for specifics and updated information. Feel free to email Maria_Copelan with any questions about graduation.
Senior Slide Show
We are beginning to develop the 2021 Senior Slideshow. This is a BHS Tradition that celebrates the growth that our Seniors made during their high school years. We are looking to collect as many pictures as we can to represent EVERY graduating senior in the class of 2021. We ask that all photos be shared with us digitally. Drop photos in the shared google album bit.ly/bhsseniorslideshow2021
Yearbook is currently collecting information and images from students to help us fill some of the pages this year. Students should check their email for links to Google Forms that will be used to help us create a yearbook that commemorates this year.
